Pasadena Public Library
Databases Online

Change in Database Use Requirements:

You no longer need to do any special setup on your browser to use the databases from home or office.
In-Library users should click on the "In-Library Access" link to access a database..  To access a database remotely, click on the "Remote
Access" link.  After clicking on this link, you will be prompted to enter your last name and a valid Pasadena library card number.

If you have previously set your browser to use our special proxy settings, disable them for best connection to the databases.
 Refer to the
setup instructions for your browser and "un-check" the appropriate boxes or buttons for your browser's settings.

Many of the databases are provided by the Texas State Library's TEXSHARE program. Use TDNet to see an A-Z list of all the full text periodical titles that are available online in the TexShare databases, and also what database the titles are indexed in.  Since users can link directly to the databases from the list, use this link when accesing TDNet remotely.
Note:To exit a database, close the browser window by clicking the X in the top right corner of the window.
